The intention behind LUX
We set out to create a standard of care.
When we first opened our doors inside the SLS LUX Hotel on South Miami Avenue, we never set out to become a “destination.” We were in the heart of Brickell, creating a place where someone could step away from the pace of Miami and feel genuinely cared for.
What mattered was the welcome, the attention during a treatment and the way a guest felt when it was time to leave. Over time, those moments became the reason people returned, brought someone they loved and made LUX part of their lives.
We never sought to create a destination; we sought to create a standard of genuine human presence.
For us, luxury begins with three commitments. They shape the experience long before the first massage technique or facial product touches the skin.

A shared appointment can still be deeply personal. One guest may prefer Swedish relaxation; the other may want deep tissue work. Each therapist responds to their guest’s comfort, pressure preferences and areas of focus.

Facial care with a barrier-first approach
We begin with how your skin looks and feels today: its sensitivity, condition, recent product use and your goals. Cleansing, exfoliation, hydration and finishing care are chosen accordingly.
Selected protocols may incorporate a COSMEDIX metabolic peel when appropriate. Formula, intensity, preparation and aftercare matter. The aim is thoughtful renewal with respect for your skin’s tolerance.

Saturday at LUX
9:00 a.m. — 8:00 p.m.
Brickell has its own Saturday rhythm. Our extended spa hours make it easier to build a visit around yours, whether you want an early reset, an afternoon together or time to unwind before dinner.
Saturday DJ music can add energy to the pool-deck atmosphere. Ask our Spa Concierge about the day’s schedule when planning your time around a treatment.
Morning
Begin with yourself.
Start the weekend with a massage or facial and a little space before the rest of the day begins.
Afternoon
Make time together.
Plan a couples appointment, celebrate an occasion or turn a personal treatment into a longer spa visit.

Reserve ahead for your preferred treatment and time. Spa hours are separate from pool, steam room and restaurant hours; confirm amenity availability when planning your visit.

LUX MedSpa Brickell has two updated private couples massage rooms inside SLS LUX Hotel. Each guest receives care tailored to their preferred massage style, pressure and areas of focus, so the experience is shared while the treatment remains individual. What are your Saturday opening hours?
We are open on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Miami time. Choose a morning reset, an afternoon appointment or a treatment before your evening plans, subject to availability. Reserve ahead for your preferred time. Pool, steam room and restaurant hours are separate from spa hours; confirm the details with our Spa Concierge.
What is a metabolic peel, and how do I know if I am a candidate?
A metabolic peel is a professional exfoliating treatment that helps lift away dead skin cells and supports skin renewal for a smoother, brighter, more even-looking complexion. COSMEDIX offers gentle yet effective peel options, as well as more intensive formulas, so the treatment is selected according to your skin and goals.
At LUX MedSpa Brickell, begin by booking a custom facial. During your appointment, your esthetician assesses your skin’s condition, sensitivity, current skincare routine and goals to determine whether you are a candidate for a metabolic peel. If appropriate, the recommended peel can be added as a facial enhancement. Your esthetician will explain any preparation, expected recovery and aftercare before you proceed.

What can a personalized facial include?

Your esthetician determines the appropriate combination after considering your concerns, sensitivity, routine and goals. Treatment steps vary by guest and service. Can I use the pool with a spa booking or gift card?
Guests with at least one booked spa service can enjoy pool and steam room access on the day of their appointment during available amenity hours. A gift card purchase alone does not provide access; the recipient must book a service. Food and drinks are purchased separately, and valet inclusions depend on the selected experience.
